As Light As
The little kid in me still hoards those treasures found on walks or visits to new places. Patterned stones, skulls, pine cones, weathered sea shells, the odd mummified froglet. Feathers are scooped up, to be prized somewhere, particularly those from a bird of prey or ones with such stunning patterns that an expert seamstress would be hard pressed to emulate them. I was gifted with a handful of pristine mute swan feathers recently. Dazzling under the lights, I think they show that black and white can be just as powerful in our colourful world.
